Sanlam delights Policyholders with Children’s Day Fun Fair

Sanlam Nigeria and Ghana initiate Sanlam West Africa Community of Practice

Setting aside their endless jollof wars, Nigeria and Ghana recently came together to launch a knowledge exchange initiative called Sanlam West Africa Community of Practice. The Community of Practice is a novel idea that seeks to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange between markets in the West African sub-region.   At a recent visit to Sanlam Nigeria Head Office in Lagos, MD/CEO Sanlam Life Ghana, Tawiah Ben-Ahmed, exchanged a commemorative and symbolic handshake with his Nigerian counterpart, Tunde Mimiko, to kickstart the initiative. Sanlam, aYo partner to boost access, affordable insurance for Nigerians

  Sanlam, Africa’s biggest insurer, has partnered with the continent’s emerging microinsurance fintech, aYo Holdings, to revolutionise insurance in Nigeria in support of Sanlam’s drive to offer local consumers affordable life and hospitalisation cover. According to a statement seen by BusinessDay, aYo is expected to act as a technology service provider to Sanlam in Nigeria. “It will coordinate technical integration for the underwriter of microinsurance products and provide platform services to enable mobile money and third-party payment offerings. This will enable Sanlam to offer easy-to-understand, convenient and affordable products that challenge traditional insurance offerings in the market,” it added. CSR: Sanlam Life Insurance donates to Ophanages

In line with its Corporate Social Responsibility exertions, Sanlam Life Insurance Nigeria Limited, formerly known as FBN Insurance Limited, recently donated cardigans and cash to five orphanages in Jos, Plateau State. The beneficiary orphanages are Simji Girl Child Empowerment Initiative Orphanage, Kids with A Vision Foundation Orphanage, Tabitha Evangel Mission International, Abba Father - RICH Orphanage, and Jofin Empowerment Orphanage Home.
